Sunday Mornings

NextGen Kids

Children aged 9 months to 11 years are invited to learn about the Christian story through games, books, activities, crafts, and more! A safe, welcoming place for kids of all ages, gender identities, and abilities, our NextGen programming is offered year-round during Sunday in-person services. About halfway through the service, children are invited to go to the gymnasium for NextGen.

NextGen Youth

A passionate, inclusive group for youth in grades 6 through 12, emphasizing spiritual growth through conversation, social justice, service, and fun!

Youth group meets Sundays during church and on an ongoing basis for group activities like board game nights, escape rooms, zoo outings, and more. Join our group for details on our next gathering and email updates.

Beyond Sundays

We’re a seven-day-a-week church offering opportunities for kids and families to connect on more than just Sundays. Join us for one of the following fun events.

Children’s Choir | Kindergarten to grade 5

Experience the joy of singing in a choir, learn to read music, meet new friends, and perform publicly.

Pre-school Music Program

For eight weeks this fall, pre-schoolers (ages 0 to 5) and their caregivers are invited to a fun music program at Hillhurst United Church! Play instruments, meet new friends, learn basic music skills, and have fun!

Mondays in the Heritage Room

Parents+ of 2SLGBTQIA+ Peer Support
All parents+ (guardians, caretakers + grandparents) of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals are welcome to connect online to share stories, connect, ask questions, and lend support to each other in a casual peer-led setting. We meet on an on-going basis, so join the group to receive email updates. All identities and walks of life are welcome, religious and non-religious.
