Fire and Grace is an alternative gathering of people who share worship, silent prayer/meditation, study and companionship on the spiritual journey. Some members are brand new to the spiritual path; some have studied the Gospels or the teachings of Christian mystics and saints; some lean more toward Buddhist or Sufic teachings; while still others follow a more secular-spiritual path.
Fire and Grace services are generally on Wednesday nights. For more information, visit the Fire & Grace page.
Children 0-3 can remain with their parents in the service, or spend the entire service with our caregivers in the PLAY daycare.
Children 4-12 start in the Sanctuary with their parents. There is a Children's Time during the worship service, and then children are invited to attend age appropriate Sunday School Classes with our experienced Sunday School teachers.
Our curriculum teaches children the art of using religious language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives.

Junior and senior high youth meet every other Sunday morning in the Library - a space for young people to hang out with other kids and talk about issues of importance. They will meet during church the first three Sundays of the Month, and join the congregation on the fourth Sunday (when the band plays). The Leaders are Jordan Paton and Greg Powell.
The congregation joyfully participates in this celebration and we delight in your choice of Hillhurst United as the place to mark this occasion. We welcome people from any religious denomination or background to come and learn and decide what works best for you.
Please call or email the church for more information. 403-283-1539, office@hillhurstunited.com
