Our Church is on a journey of inquiry to determine if we and the surrounding community can support the development of affordable housing units for low income families as well as new church facilities for our growing and active congregation.
On Sunday November 15 the congregation will vote on the following three motions:
Motion #1: The congregation authorizes the Building Renewal Committee to spend up to $100,000 to commence the next phase of planning and preparation which includes the implementation of a fundraising program.
Motion #2: The congregation agrees in principle to make the excess land density available on the westerly portion of the property for the creation of affordable housing. Title is to remain in the Church’s name.
Motion #3: The congregation agrees to initiate the planning for renovation of the Heritage building to a maximum of $500,000 once the fundraising program has received pledges of no less than $400,000.
